VMP faculty are recognized worldwide as leaders in research of infectious diseases that threaten animal health on a local and global scale, including those with potential for transmission through the animal:human interface. VMP has a unique and long-standing program synergy with scientists in the USDA-Animal Disease Research Unit, further strengthening our research impact through inter-unit cooperative interactions. Our educational programs in the professional and graduate curricula are forward thinking as we develop and implement innovative approaches to stimulate student engagement. We believe collaborative interactions between faculty, staff and students in all departmental missions are key to success.
We encourage you to spend some time on this site discovering the research and educational opportunities VMP has to offer. We are excited about our programs and welcome the opportunity to discuss your interests with you.
