Francis and Margery Abinanti Public Health Teaching Endowment Fund
The income from the Francis and Margery Abinanti Public Health Teaching Endowment Fund will provide financial support of the teaching expenses associated with offering public health course(s) to veterinary students in the professional curriculum by Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology faculty members of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Avian Health Laboratory Endowment Fund
Davis, Bill & Betty End for Basic & Applied Res in Immunology of Food & Companion Animals
This fund will provide financial support for the programs to further the understanding of the mechanisms regulating the development of protective immunity against pathogens and parasites and the development of new and improved vaccines in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology.
With the goal of expanding immunology research at WSU, Dr. Bill Davis has pledged an additional $100,000 to the fund as a matching gift. For every $20 you give, Dr. Davis will match $1 (up to $100,000). The goal is to reach $1 million to provide dedicated immunology research funds for researchers at WSU. Rocky Crate D.V.M. & Wild Sheep Foundation End Chair in Wild Sheep Disease Research
Funding supports the endowed chair position, currently occupied by Dr. Thomas Besser.

This fund will provide financial support for the infrastructure and for the programs in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology.
